DALLAS CARTER VS BROCK ROUND 5

Dallas Carter secured a strong 52-44 victory over Brock in the state semifinal on March 10, earning a spot in the state championship game. Carter used a balanced scoring attack and strong defense to control the pace and pull away late in the matchup.


Amarion Hunter led Carter with 18 points, playing a key role offensively throughout the game. Terrell Jackson followed with 14 points, helping keep the pressure on Brock’s defense. Kaiden Eason added 8 points, while Landen Higgs contributed 7 points to round out Carter’s scoring effort.


Brock fought hard to stay in the game behind a strong performance from Eli Paez, who led all Brock scorers with 17 points. Colt Matlock and Will McGee each added 8 points, while Brady Williams finished with 7 points for the Eagles.


Carter maintained control in the second half with strong defensive stops and timely baskets that helped create separation. Brock continued to battle but was unable to close the gap as Carter held on for the win.


With the 52-44 victory, Carter advances to the state championship game, continuing an impressive playoff run while Brock’s season comes to an end after a strong showing in the semifinals.
