DESOTO vs WAXAHACHIE

DeSoto pulled away for a convincing 40–17 win over Waxahachie, taking control with explosive offense and steady execution throughout the night.

Running back Sardo Baker led the Eagles with a dominant performance on the ground, rushing for 220 yards and three touchdowns while consistently breaking big plays. Quarterback Legend Howell added balance to the attack, throwing for 121 yards and two touchdowns to keep Waxahachie’s defense on its heels. DeSoto’s offense set the tone early and never let momentum slip.

Waxahachie battled behind quarterback Nolan Barnard, who connected on a touchdown pass and worked to keep the Indians competitive. Jordan Smith also contributed in the run game, picking up tough yards against a physical DeSoto front. Despite the effort, DeSoto’s playmakers proved to be the difference as the Eagles closed out the win.
