DeSoto vs. Willis

Updated: Dec 18, 2025

The DeSoto Eagles put together an explosive performance to pull away from Willis, earning a 60–41 win behind a dominant rushing attack and timely playmaking.

DeSoto running back SaRod Baker was the clear difference maker, carrying the ball 37 times for 402 yards and seven touchdowns. He consistently broke through the defense and set the tone from start to finish. In the passing game, Courtlynn Jackson made the most of his opportunities, hauling in a 59 yard touchdown catch, while Anton Edmundson added 40 receiving yards to help stretch the field.

Willis stayed competitive with solid contributions of its own. Lincoln Frazier rushed for 61 yards and a touchdown, and Jermaine Bishop Jr. added 43 yards and a score on the ground. Despite the effort, DeSoto’s speed and physicality proved too much as the Eagles closed out a high scoring victory.
