Duncanville edged Waxahachie 28-27 in a tight matchup that came down to execution late. The Panthers leaned on quarterback Maximus Denson, who threw for 236 yards and two touchdowns on 8 of 17 passing. His ability to stretch the field kept the Waxahachie defense on its heels throughout the night.
Waxahachie stayed close behind strong efforts from Jerry Meyer III and Taylen Furlough-Strange. Meyer III finished with 115 passing yards and two touchdowns, while Furlough-Strange powered the ground game with 73 rushing yards and a score. Despite the comeback attempt, Duncanville made the final plays when it mattered most to secure the one-point win.
