DYNAMIC PREP y FAITH FAMILY

Dynamic Prep pulled off a thrilling comeback victory over Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy, winning 73–70 in a high-level matchup at the Champions Classic in Irving, Texas. The game featured elite talent and momentum swings throughout all four quarters.


Faith Family came out strong early, using their speed and outside shooting to build a lead. The Eagles were led by standout guard Tayshaun Williams, who knocked down multiple three-pointers and helped Faith Family jump ahead early. Forward Xavier Young added energy in the paint with strong finishes and rebounds as the Eagles controlled much of the first half. At halftime, Faith Family held a 37–32 lead and looked in control of the game.


Dynamic Prep slowly worked their way back in the second half. Led by Texas Tech signee Dakari Spear, Dynamic Prep began to attack the basket and convert key free throws to cut into the deficit. The game tightened in the third quarter as Dynamic Prep’s defense forced turnovers and turned them into fast-break points.


Faith Family continued to battle behind big plays from Josiah Rose and Gallagher Placide, but Dynamic Prep stayed within striking distance heading into the final minutes. With the score close late in the game, Dynamic Prep executed down the stretch and took the lead after a late scoring run. In the final moments, star junior Marcus Spears Jr. made a huge defensive play with a clutch block that helped seal the victory.


When the final buzzer sounded, Dynamic Prep completed the comeback and escaped with a 73–70 win in one of the most exciting early-season matchups between two nationally respected programs.


The game showcased high-level talent on both sides and proved why both teams are considered among the top programs in Texas high school basketball.
