KILGORE VS STEPHENVILLE

Stephenville finished a perfect season with a 10–0 win over Kilgore in the UIL Texas Football State Championship, delivering a complete performance on the biggest stage. The Yellow Jackets controlled the game from start to finish, relying on execution, field position, and a defense that never allowed Kilgore to find momentum.

Quarterback K’wain Dugas led the offense efficiently, throwing for 69 yards and three touchdowns while protecting the football. His top target, Michael Turner III, made three catches for 34 yards and scored all three touchdowns, consistently coming through in key moments. In the run game, Khelvy Jefferson set the tone with 134 rushing yards on 25 carries, helping Stephenville dominate possession and control the pace.

The Stephenville defense sealed the championship with a shutout, forcing turnovers and limiting Kilgore throughout the night. With the victory, the Yellow Jackets closed the season 16–0 and cemented their place as state champions.
