South Oak Cliff secured a hard fought win over Longview with a 20–17 victory, using timely plays and a strong defensive stand to pull away late in the game.

Quarterback Jayden Williams led the Golden Bears with confidence, highlighted by a 28 yard touchdown pass to Devin Cook that proved to be the deciding score. Cook was a major factor throughout the night, making plays in the passing game and finishing drives when it mattered most. The South Oak Cliff defense also stepped up in key moments, forcing turnovers and holding Longview to limited opportunities in the second half.

Longview stayed competitive behind Kyjon Cummings, who provided a spark offensively with scoring plays that kept the Lobos within reach. Despite the push from Longview, South Oak Cliff controlled the tempo late and closed out the win to advance.
