DeSoto put on a dominant performance, rolling past Copperas Cove 63–6 with explosive offense from start to finish. Quarterback Legend Howell led the way through the air, completing 12 of 14 passes for 285 yards and four touchdowns, keeping the Eagles in control all night.

The DeSoto run game was just as effective, as Sarod Baker powered the offense with 158 rushing yards on nine carries and three touchdowns, consistently breaking big runs. Ja’Qaylon Silas also contributed on the ground, adding 61 rushing yards, helping DeSoto control the tempo.
