North Shore vs Duncanville

Galena Park North Shore claimed a 10-7 win over Duncanville in a tense state championship matchup defined by defense and execution. Both teams battled for field position throughout the night, but North Shore made the crucial plays when it mattered most.


North Shore quarterback Kaleb Maryland led the Mustangs with a composed performance, completing 12 of 20 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown. Hezekiah Johnson powered the rushing attack with 93 yards on 17 carries, consistently breaking tackles and keeping the offense on schedule. Kaden Bradley also chipped in on the ground, adding key yards that helped extend drives.


For Duncanville, quarterback J’Coryon Rivers threw for 162 yards on 17 completions, spreading the ball across the field. Ayon Theus was explosive in limited carries, totaling 46 rushing yards and averaging over nine yards per attempt. Despite solid production, the Panthers were held in check late as North Shore’s defense closed out the win and secured the championship.
