Duncanville revenges early season loss to Waxahachie to advance to the 5th round.
Duncanville pulled away late to secure a 35–27 win over Waxahachie in a hard fought matchup that stayed tight into the fourth quarter. Both teams moved the ball well, but timely plays on both sides of the ball helped the Panthers finish on top.
Duncanville quarterback J’coryn Rivers delivered an efficient night, completing 12 of 18 passes for 151 yards and two touchdowns. He was supported by a strong ground effort from Trenton Yancey, who rushed for 84 yards on 11 carries and scored twice, giving Duncanville balance throughout the game.
Waxahachie answered with consistent pressure behind quarterback Jerry Meyer III, who threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns on 27 completions. Despite the Indians’ offensive push, Duncanville’s execution late proved to be the difference as the Panthers closed out the win.
Allen upsets the defending state champs North Crowley 33-21 to advance to round 5.
North Crowley and Allen went head to head in a competitive matchup, with Allen pulling away for a 33–21 win. Both teams showed flashes on offense, but Allen capitalized on big plays and timely scores to control the game.
Allen quarterback Jeremiah Daoud led the way through the air, finishing 13 of 22 passing for 204 yards and three touchdowns. His ability to stretch the field kept the North Crowley defense on edge all night. Jaeden Hambric added balance for the Eagles on the ground, rushing for 61 yards on eight carries and helping Allen sustain key drives.
North Crowley answered with a strong rushing performance from Kiante Ingram, who carried the load with 32 rushes for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Despite the Panthers’ effort to keep pace, Allen’s offensive efficiency and scoring bursts proved to be the difference in the final score.
